Geist Reservoir is the second largest manmade lake in the state, which affords ample opportunities for fishing, boating, and water sports. The vast Fort Harrison State Park provides space for a variety of activities, including hiking, cross-country skiing, and fishing. A host of nearby golf and country clubs, such as Ironwood Golf Club, Indian Lake Country Club, and Old Oakland Golf Club, provide additional outdoor activities for the Geist community as well.
